The event is a 3 day festival at 013 in Tilburg, starting at the 1st of October. Reviver will play on Sunday 3 October together with Martyr, Mother of Sin, Gunslinger and Picture.

We're proud to announce that Reviver is working on a new album !

The current line-up includes returned Reviver members Pieter Bas Borger (vocals) and Toine van der Linden (bass). Besides guitarist Fred Mantel, the line-up will be completed by two brandnew bandmates. Stanley Sanders will perform on guitar and a new drummer will be announced soon.

All songs for the new album are written. The band will commence recording sessions coming months.

Besides the new album, there are planned new live shows. More on that later.

A new website will be introduced at the moment of release of the album.

Reviver is proud to announce:

Pieter Bas Borger has joined Reviver ! In 2001 Pieter Bas performed on the Reviver promo album 'Gates of Time'. Now, Pieter Bas and Reviver are re-united and Reviver is ready for a new era.

In the past, Pieter Bas performed as lead vocalist for the heavy metal band "Black Knight". Later, Black Knight splitted and Pieter Bas raised the band Profound, together with more Black Knight members.

Last two years, Pieter Bas and Reviver guitarist Fred Mantel worked together producing the second Profound album, which will be released soon. Pieter Bas will combine his activities for Profound and Reviver in future.

Pieter Bas' vocal style can be described as theatrical, highly skilled (conservatory educated) and well thought. Within Reviver, this cooperation resulted in a convincing product already, the 'Gates of Time' promo. We can expect a surprising new Reviver album !

The Reviver website has a temporary, new design. Meanwhile we're working on a new website which will be in the design of the forthcoming new album. For the moment, we will keep you informed about all latest Reviver news. A lot of news can be expected.

Due to a different opinion in label issues, Patrick van Maurik has left Reviver and he asked bassist Stefan Brederode to do the same thing. To the opinion of the remaining Reviver members, it shouldn't be a reason to split up, but it's the main reason concerning the information we've got from Patrick. We wish Patrick and Stefan all the best with their future activities and their family life.

The remaining Reviver members, Tom van Veenhuijzen, Fred Mantel and Tom Heemskerk, will continue Reviver and search for new bandmates. We will keep you informed about future news.

At this moment we don't have any copies anymore of the first Reviver album. We are working on new CD's and keep you informed when the CD is available in the Reviver webshop again. If you want to order the Reviver album, try to check out the local distributors and internet distributors. Sorry for inconveniences.

Due to the tragic death of Roadkill vocalist Marco Hendriks, the plan is raised to organize a charity concert for the fight against cancer. The plans are developped to a hugh organisation. The date, the bands and the location are a fact now. The festival will be named 'Metal Medicine'. There is being talked about promotion, sponsoring, merchandize and so on, right now. It's clear for everyone, all revenue coming from this festival will be for 100% for the Funds for the Fight against Cancer. We've a special price for Jeffrey Pieters also. In fact he was choosen as winner by random, but he had given the wrong answer on the first question. Reviver doesn't play on Pinkpop, but on the Metal Bash 2005.

The other questions were more difficult. The question 'The sign in the top-right corner of the homepage does look kinda familiar, doesn't it?
Tell us what it is used on also !' could be interpreted in different ways. In fact the 'US Dollar' was the correct answer. But answers like 'Illuminati' etc. are seen as good also.

The last question 'who is the son of Osiris ?' does have more options also. In fact, 'Horus' is the correct answer. But some scientists explain that Egyptian gods like Annubis are seen as sons of Osiris too. So if you answered with 'Annubis', that's okay !

Reviver will participate on the Running Wild tribute album, called 'Revivalry'. The album will be released by Remedy Records in June 2005. Reviver recorded the track 'Pile of Skulls'. The artwork of the album has been done by Kris Verwimp.

On Saturday 14 May there will be a large metal festival in Wassenaar. The festival is called 'Twilight Zone Metal Festival" and will take place in The Factory, formerly Twilight Zone.

Reviver will headline this festival and present his CD.

The final master of the debut Reviver album has been finished! The master has been done by Piet Sielck (Iron Saviour) in Powerhouse Studios in Hamburg.

REVIVER SIGNS; RELEASE ALBUM IN MARCH/APRIL 2005

Dutch heavy metal band Reviver is signed by German label Remedy Records (Paragon, Twisted Tower Dire). At this moment Reviver is finishing the production of the first full lenght album. Recordings and mix have been taken place at Steelworks Studio in Purmerend.

The worldwide release is planned in March/April 2005. To promote the album, there will be a releaseparty and several gigs in the Netherlands and Germany.

The artwork of the CD has been done by Tom van Veenhuijzen. De CD cover has been made by Elco Vossers.

The album will be full of heavy metal in the style of Iron Maiden and Crimson Glory. Most of all, the album will sound like Reviver. Besides fast songs as "Osiris Eyes" and "Watch Out", the album will be completed with melodic power metal songs like "Cycles" and "Garden of Eden".
